Christopher Gopal is an experienced executive and consultant with over 35 years of experience in global supply chain & operations management and information technology.

His experience includes VP of world-wide operations at Dell Computer and Senior Partner and Director of Ernst & Young’s global supply chain consulting practice. He has also held executive positions at Overland Storage, Unisys, and SAIC. Chris’s consulting experience includes supply chain & operations strategy, execution, cost reduction, customer profitability, and information technology implementation at leading global companies across several industries. He is the co-author of three books on operations and supply chain management, including Supercharging Supply Chains: Creating Shareholder Value through Operations Excellence (called “one of the most influential supply chain books of all time” by Dan Gilmore, Supply Chain Digest). He has spoken at several international forums, including for Harvard Business Review, IATA and SAP. He is a recognized thought leader in supply chain & operations management and has helped pioneer innovative ways of designing operations and developing strategy. Chris is on the advisory board of a major think tank project in Washington, the supply chain center at the University of Southern California, and serves as an advisor to innovative supply chain technology startups. In addition, Chris has served as a Supply Chain Advisor on a major government initiative on manufacturing in the US.
